Angela Gibson — is the owner/trainer/educator of rrruff-RULES. She comes from a family of dog lovers and can't remember a day when she wasn't around dogs. So when she moved away from home to go to college, it only made sense that she'd get a dog. Tess was an American Cocker Spaniel in solid black. Originally purchased with the intent to compete in AKC conformation, Tess had other ideas. By the time she was six months old she had re-designed the house, chewed through numerous cords, remotes, you name it — if it could be picked up it was destroyed. But that's not why she got into training dogs… like most dog owners, she thought the world of her dogs, they're her kids, and given the choice she would take them everywhere, so having them on their best behavior at all times was a must. Through research and talking to other dog owners she found they had the same philosophy but because their dogs were disobedient, they were often ousted to the back yard when company came over, closed up in the bedroom when the delivery man came, and the owners were forever nervous and anxious of what the dog would do next.
So now after 18 years, resulting in numerous CGC titles, and one on her way to a CD title within the American Kennel Club obedience circuit, she thought what better job could a person have than sharing knowledge and experience with a goal towards establishing a long lasting companion relationship. And
